Hillary Clinton has been ramping up her support and appearances for Barack Obama lately, now urging voters to put him in the White House. She has urged anyone who voted for her to now cast their vote for Obama.

LAS VEGAS - Hillary Rodham Clinton told an exuberant crowd Friday she wants Barack Obama to win the White House, even though he dashed her own presidential dreams — and she wants her supporters to vote that way, too.
“Anyone who voted for me or caucused for me has so much more in common with Sen. Obama than Sen. McCain,” Clinton told her cheering audience in the Las Vegas suburb of Henderson. “Remember who we were fighting for in my campaign.”
Though she has endorsed her former rival, the speech was Clinton’s first appearance at a rally for Obama since the two appeared together in Unity, N.H., in June.
In another sign of growing detente between the House of Clinton and the House of Obama, Democrats said Bill Clinton would speak on the third night of this month’s national convention in Denver.
The Clintons’ efforts on Obama’s behalf may ease worries within the party that bad feelings from the long primary battle might erupt at the convention.
She said Friday that “we may have started on two separate paths, but we are on one journey now.” She said her long primary campaign against the Illinois senator showed her “his passion, his determination, his grace and his grit.”
The crowd let her know they still held her in high regard. They cheered Obama’s name and waved his campaign signs, but no mention of him won as loud a roar as Clinton’s introduction.

What’s interesting is how both of the Clintons have shied away claiming Obama to be the most qualified candidate. I’m guessing that’s because they both stated he was not qualified to be President at points during the primary season.

That’s true huh. The Clintons are unable to endorse him as the best candidate- doing so would give others ground to debunk their words by what may have been said previously by the Clintons.
Then again, that will probably happen anyway even if their support isn’t as strong- they were quite vocal in regards to their opinion of Obama’s leadership ability.

Kinda bizarre how Obama gets labelled a sleaze bag when the Clintons are some of the biggest sleazebags in Washington.
you can all go shove it talking bad about Obama why is it really his skin color that scares you. and what’s funny if so is that your no even mature enough to say thats the real problem.

All you just accomplished was making yourself look immature with that statement for two reasons:
1. People who don’t like Obama, think he’s a sleazebag, whatever, have their reasons and are entitled to them. You are very much in the wrong to paint them as racist for not supporting him. All you have accomplished just now is making those who do not support Obama more POed at his supporters (and him) because you are cheating them out of their own voice. Please stop spreading such hate-filled statements. You’re not doing anyone any favors except John McCain.
2. I truely, truely believe Obama will win this election, and we (not just he) are going to leave all those who do not support Obama “pleasently surprised” with what the next eight years will bring. Mark my words. So, take negativty in stride. Don’t get defensive with people who are critical of Obama, disagree with his policies, or just plain don’t trust/like him. Hell, we need those people to have a consistent democracy of checks and balances.

I don’t understand why race has to come into anything, since McCain has a Bangladeshi daughter it would be hypocritical of him to start attacking Obama because of his skin colour.
Talking of Ann Coulter, I watched the O’Reilly Factore the other day when she started going all retarded about Obama’s middle name saying how it’s Hussein and we should call him by it etc etc etc, so Bill O’Reilly asked her what McCain’s middle name is and she was absolutely clueless…I couldn’t stop laughing, she really is a hateful dolt.

That was very good on you to condemn Obama supporters who are poor sports. We just got to get some people from the opposite side like that. I’ve seen some of the nastiest illogical McCain supporters get defended by the more logical and rational ones.
They are just happy to have someone on their team now matter how dumb they are.
But those people do more damage than good.
