Yeah!…Tom Allen for Senate! Funny how no one ever mentions the State of Maine until election years…hopefully the war-mongering, corporate welfare-giving, manly looking Susan Collins will finally be ousted. Seriously though, the rest of the country might do well to look at Maine, as it’s one of the most independant states in the country politically. We have people who are hardcore democrats that believe strongly in gun-rights (as do I), as well as hardcore conservatives that believe USP healthcare is the way to go (There’s a push here to get it on the ballot by 2010). Our other senator, Olympia Snowe, is a republican as well, but she has done a lot for our state and the country. Collins on the other hand could stand to go. Oh, yeah, and our clean elections system is peerless as well.
