John McCain made an appearance on Saturday Night Live yesterday.
UNITED STATES — Old age was the foundation of some political jokes on the season finale “Saturday Night Live.â€
Republican presidential candidate John McCain, 71, took to the comedy stage Saturday night, using his age for some easy punch lines. McCain appeared in a campaign ad parody in which his promised to put an end to runaway government spending, claiming he had never sought money for his home state of Arizona.
“Controlling government spending isn’t just about Republicans or Democrats. It’s about being able to look your children in the eye. Or in my case, my children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren, the youngest of whom are nearing retirement,” McCain joked.
