Video: Sunday morning strategists and surrogates (Update) John Edwards added

Plenty and Clinton/Obama surragates and campaign strategists made the rounds today on the Sunday morning political shows. I’ve collected some of them below in their entirety.

First, on Meet the Press, two former DNC Chairmen: Obama supporter Sen. Chris Dodd (D-CT) and Clinton campaign Chairman Terry McAuliffe, here’s the full video:

Next, Obama campaign Chief Strategist David Axelrod was on Fox New Sunday earlier today along with Hillary Clinton Communications Director Howard Wolfson. Obviously they discussed the campaign and upcoming contests.

First, here is David Axelrod:

  1. Hillary Clinton and Barrack Obama had a great campaign, and they both fought hard. I think that it is time to chose a candidate, and It is clear to me at least, that it should be Obama. I would like either of them as President, but I voted for Obama and I would like him to be known as one of the great faces of the nation.

  2. This is so strange to me. The democratic nominee is chosen every four years at the national convention. Why is everyone trying to force a nomination before that this year? And if they’re going to do that, why not just cancel the convention?
