Good news for Clinton, and she needs it in North Carolina where she’s running down several points on average. A gubernatorial endorsement can offer a tremendous advantage in these primary campaigns.

I wonder how much money she had to slip his favorite charity’s way. Thats right I said it. Not that they all don’t do it. Senator Clinton just does it the most. Read a newspaper or magazine, you’ll figure it out.
Actually Megan, the only NC superdelegate that’s received any contributions from either of the candidates is Rep. Heath Shuler (NC). Sen. Obama donated $10,000 to him, Clinton $0, but he is yet to endorse either of them.

Interesting reading this morning from an imbedded reporter traveling with Hillary. I’m not a Hillary supporter, but this is a powerful statement from one of her big ones and I thought some of her supporters here might enjoy it:
“Lending his support in Jeffersonville was Robert F Kennedy, Jr, a long time Clinton backer and advocate for energy independence who told the crowd that Sen Clinton is tough enough for what she calls the toughest job in the world. “I worked very hard with her when she came into New York state, ran for my father’s senate seat in the state, and I saw what she did during that campaign and election,†he said. “She came in after enduring one of the most savage beatings of any public figure during my lifetime.â€
He also joked about the split in the famous Kennedy clan over which Democrat to support this year. “There are some members of my family who’ve decided to do the wrong thing and support Barack Obama,†he said. “Let me tell you why they’re wrong and I’m right - because I know Hillary Clinton better than they know Barack Obama.—
