With the continued saga plaguing the Obama campaign, Hillary Clinton has a renewed sense of optimism that somehow, some way, perhaps she can still take the nomination. A new poll confirms that Democratic voters now believe she’d have the better chance of beating McCain.
The story on it from AOL News:
WASHINGTON (AP) - Hillary Rodham Clinton has a better chance than Barack Obama of beating Republican John McCain, according to a new Associated Press-Ipsos poll that bolsters her argument that she is more electable in the fall than her rival for the Democratic nomination.
The survey released Monday gives Clinton a fresh talking point as she works to convince pivotal undecided superdelegates to side with her in the drawn-out Democratic primary fight.
Clinton, who won the Pennsylvania primary last week, has gained ground this month in a hypothetical head-to-head match up with the GOP nominee-in-waiting; she now leads McCain, 50 percent to 41 percent, while Obama remains virtually tied with McCain, 46 percent to 44 percent.
Truth be told, Obama has locked up the pledged delegates, the math has already won him the nomination in that respect. However, could the superdelegates see Jeremiah Wright as a liability and thus, choose Hillary Clinton as the nominee?
According to this Fox News video, some in the media may be giving Clinton a second look:
That is, of course, if you believe there has been a bias in the media toward Obama and against Clinton. Furthermore, if you believe there is a “liberal” bias in the media to begin with, you could then accept the notion that the media would rather see a Democrat, in the form of Hillary Clinton, elected over the Republican John McCain. Regardless of whether they may like the “idea” of Obama as the nominee. Finally, if they perceive Obama as too “weak” whether by form or because of Jeremiah Wright, might they abandon him in favor of Clinton?
Sound off below.

I would hate to see unofficial polls or poll averages decide who gets the nomination.
These polls seem to change with the wind, and we’re supposed to believe it’s a good representation of what’s going to happen in November?
The polls are just as biased now as the media is, so I don’t see how this makes the case for Clinton’s candidacy. I would doubt that the superdelegates will go against the will of the popular vote, seeing as how a good number of them are up for election themselves, and the rest of them will be before the public forgets their folly.
The superdelegates will go with who they think can win the big electoral states in November.
I guess Josh wants Wright as VP but the rest of the country is up in the air about it….LOL
Obama is a loser for sticking with this guy. Hey Josh, Wright needs your help in the other threads on here….Hurry!
Well, if Clinton keeps making this arguments and/or arguments similar to Dem’08’s…. Obama’s got nothing to worry about.
Michel
Obama has to worry about himself. Look around you and see what is happening with him. He is his own enemy but he still has a shot with biased people like you around. I guess Wright is your hero too!
I think if the democratic party would unify around Obama all this Jeremiah Wright stuff would be inconsequential. But instead the republican media and the Hilary Clinton campaign would rather see this dragged out.
The numbers speak the truth~ Obama is the clear winner!
Sorry Ben, there are to many smart people who have enough respect for this nation and its people to just brush this off to satisfy those who are too loopy to realize what this tells us about Wright and Obama.
Everyony who supports Wright should be kicked out of the country so they can live with the radicals.
You just love bold statements, don’t you Dem? IF you vote Obama THAN Wright is your hero. Is that the logical progression you’re following there?
And you actually go out of your way to lecture people about the need to make intelligent posts? Well at least your love of instigation keeps things interesting.
And by interesting I mean… kind of like a middle school playground at recess.
Indiminded
Don’t put yourself in the “idiot” line here.
If you want some I can give it up. I know what Michel post because I read his loopy post. I know he defends this racist so stay out of something you don’t understand if it is over your head! Got It?
Threat noted
You big bully you
Honestly I don’t mean to get in the middle of all this. I just have trouble seeing something like
“Obama has to worry about himself. Look around you and see what is happening with him. He is his own enemy but he still has a shot with biased people like you around. I guess Wright is your hero too!”
Because I’m also planning on voting for him, and something like that sort of demeans all Obama supporters, doesn’t it? And without a lot of substance.
Haha, good point Indiminded. If Wright is bashing Obama now, and saying he will “come after him” while implying that Obama is just another politician… then they are on opposite sides (are you following there, my dear friend Dem’08?).
So Dem, if you bash Obama, then you are supporting Wright in some of their views. Why, you radical girl! Aren’t you ashamed of yourself?
“Everyone who supports Wright should be kicked out of the country so they can live with the radicals?”
That’s a weird way of supporting Obama, but it’s ok. You were hilarious before this anyway.
I don’t support Wright. I do think he has said racist sermons, and I aslo think he has reasons to be so paranoid or so radical, but not all times. I also think you and all the media are cherrypicking at his sermons to make a point that’s not absolute.
And I DON’T defend Wright. But I will not attack him without reasons. I will not attack him at all costs, without sounded arguments, like you do. And I will defend facts, not opinions. I won’t argue with you on this subject anymore. Say what you want. With any luck, by the time of the general election, you’ll vote for the candidate of your choice with REAL REASONS to do it, and not for the stupid reasons you are stating here. People like you and OBAMA_S have demoralized themesleves so much that probably you’ve done the best possible defense of Obama that I can think of.
Just looking at your arguments, intelligent people will judge them accordingly.
Indiminded
I did explain this to you once. This was for Michel because I know were he stands. He refuses to see the message Wright has been teaching to many people and it is just because it come down on Obama. He is just trying to downplay the Wright issue by saying there is no proof because of Obama. You read what you want from my post but there is your answer to my view. I think anyone who has been paying attention to Michel could see that.
Michel
If I bash Obama then I support Wright….see why you are an idiot? If you support Wright then you should be kicked out of this nation because you are a loser just like him.
Sorry I don’t mean this as an attack but Stupid is stupid and I just let it be known.
My prediction:
Hillary will be the Democratic nominee.
McCain will be the next president. Unfortunately, Hillary is hated by half the country to win, regardless of what the polls say. Obama has too much baggage, and he’s too weak in defending himself. He might even drop out of the race, which might not be such a bad idea since he cannot beat McCain, and also since he said Jeremiah Wright is fair game in this election and McCain is now getting on the Wright band wagon.
I DISPISE McCain, and will support whoever the Democratic candidate is although I am a registered Republican.
Obama could have been our next president, but the Republican attack machine like Sean Hannity and Rush-the-fat-Limbaugh totally DESTROYED him. Obama should have thrown that idiot Jeremiah Wright UNDER THE DAMN BUS! He is out there throwing Obama under the damn bus by saying Obama believes the trash he preached, but has to deny it because he’s a politician! Then he said if Obama wins, he’ll come after him since America screwed his people, or something to that nature. I can’t STAND J. Wright! He exploited blacks to keep them as victims, and now took their money and bought himself a $10million dollar home in a WHITE community! That fat HYPOCRITE!
Message to Sen. Obama: THROW WRIGHT UNDER THE BUS, AND WIN THIS THING!!!!
I’m a registered Republican only so that I could vote for Mitt Romney. I am REALLY an Independent Conservative. But since Mitt Romney was thrown UNDER THE BUS, I’m for Sen. Obama! But he doesn’t have a chance in hell now because he should have thrown that moron J. Wright under the bus since that’s what Wright has done to him! He stabbed Sen. Obama in the back!
If Clinton is the nominee, I hope she kicks McCain’s butt since Rush Limbaugh and his CHILDISH Operation Chaos helped her win the nominee. That would be an “IN YOUR FACE” victory for Hillary! I hope she pulls it off!!!
Hahahahahahahahaaaa!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!!
ROFLMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, to explain everything to you is really tiresome. Again, if you are attacking Obama, at this specific point, then you are supporting Wright’s reasoning that Obama is acting like any politician would do. Just that. I guess that you get some weird satisfaction by insulting people through the internet, instead of face to face, but I don’t mind that. You are free to speak in whatever tone you use, even if you are right or wrong, or even if you don’t have any argument at all.
And, I think you didn’t notice. I do think than Wright has stated some racist comments in his church. I just don’t happen to believe that is relevan to Obama, and I’m SURE that it doesn’t make justice to Wright nor it proves that his ENTIRE MESSAGE during those 20 years was a racist one. He has spoken about many things, and not only racism. That’s all. Take it or leave it.
You are some fierce and tough lady, I give you that (even if it’s only through internet) but if you want to talk about some dirt on Obama I think you’ll have to look somewhere else.
I live in north west Tenn. if you would like me to tell you how stupid you are face to face.
I am not upset but don’t call me out and make me seem tough only online. I’m no tough guy but I am no wimp either. I’ll meet with you anytime and speak to you like a beaten dog. If you want it…Please come get it fool! LOL

That’s the best pro-Obama comment I’ve read in months!
Hahaha.
I’m calling you out boy! What is your answer?
What is wrong, that mouth just drawed up huh? Bring it
How about that for an attack loser? Answer?
*Yawn*. Are you gonna cry or something? Clinton did when almost nobody was supporting her. Your situation in this blog is similar, why don’t you just do the same now? Just cry, it won’t matter, we won’t think any less of you than what we are thinking now.
I’m going to bed. Have a good evening.
Go Hilary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If Hillary Clinton becomes the nominee, we are truly a disgusting country. If McCain beats Hillary, she should be fired from the Democratic Party and the shame of a nation will be on her front door for race-baiting and fear-mongering.
If Barack Obama beats them both it will be a miracle, a true miracle.
Hillary is better positioned to win the election in November. I believe what you have to look at is the electoral map, who’s won what they have to win, and I think Hillary can make a better case.
GO HILLARY!

My sentiments:
LOL and Bravo, I personally find your comments hilarious and welcome an IndiCon like yourself to the Obama voting base. As long as we continue to do our part (volunteer, donate, make calls, etc) I have no doubt Obama will seal the deal in Indiana, NC, and the United States of America.
Northwest Tennessee, eh? I see you’re problem now, Dem08, aren’t sex toys illegal in Tennessee? Here’s a note to you, saying that all Obama supporters should be kicked out of the country is FAR more radical than anything Wright or even Farrakhan has EVER said! What do I think? I think that the South should have been allowed to seceed back in the 1800’s. At least then you dirty rednecks wouldn’t be screwing up America for the rest of us.
See, now that’s radical! Wright saying that America hates Blacks isn’t radical, it’s true.
The media puppets seem to have invaded this post too. There are many issues to discuss (just one for example: a U.S. led Iraq war in which we are still deeply involved and perpetuating), and you’re still focusing on J. Wright. What is this? — Political commentary from Tiger Beat Magazine or OMG! He Said/She Said Weekly? This is media and propaganda drama. Wright will not change the U.S., even if Obama is Pres.
I think that all this talk of which democrat won the big states is a little ridiculous. It’s not an accurate measure of which one will do better against a republican in the general election because these primaries were between only democrats, and in some cases only democrats where allowed to vote.
I think it is reasonable to assume that more republicans and independents will vote for Obama as compared to Clinton in a general election, and that the vast majority of Clinton’s voters in these large states would vote for Obama over McCain in the general election if he becomes the nominee. Obviously not all of them, but I don’t think all of Obama’s supporters, especially in the states with open primaries will vote for Clinton, especially if there is a sense that she stole this nomination.
Most importantly, no one is really attacking Hillary Clinton, or for that matter John McCain, right now (except of course Keith “Overzealous†Olbermann in his ‘Worst Person in the World†segment). Obama has been fairly light on HillRod and her Pantsuit Posse, in terms of attacking her past scandals, except for a few attacks by his surrogates and other Obamaniacs. He has chosen more direct attacks on her policy stances past and present, which I feel is more relevant. The “republican attack machine,†as liberals like to call it will have a field day with Clinton’s past if and when the time comes. The republican pundits, such as Rush “Laughable†Limbaugh and Bill “O’Retard†O’Reily, will have a field day with her as well.
The media’s handling of the J. Wright scandal and for that matter the degradation of the comments in this post say a lot about the intelligence of this country and where we are going as a nation. Let’s get back to the issues please, and start evaluating who is really going to get this country back on track in the areas of economic stability, foreign policy, and health care. I’m honestly not sure if any of them is up to the task. A lot has changed in the last 12 weeks since “Super Tuesday†and you can bet a lot more will happen in the 28 weeks until the general election, not the least of which will likely by another $0.50 hike in gas prices. So in the mean time I’ll keep spreading the good word; trying, as difficult as it may be, to keep this dialog positive…
“Barack out with your ___ out,†because what else is there to do.
I totally agree with you, JustinB. The posts seem to be backing up the polls that say this extended democratic race is tearing down the party. One would expect democrats and republicans to go at each other over the issues, but there seems to be a trend of democrats going at each other revealing itself here, and in very personal and nasty ways.
You mention the gas prices, what’s your opinion of McCain’s proposal of a gas tax holiday, Clinton’s agreeing with it and expounding on it, and Obama’s rejection of it?
Senator Clinton made the case for her candidacy when she announced she was going to run gor President. I have never been a fan because I only saw it as Senator Clinton satisfying her desired to be called President, basically like most politicians who run for an elected position in these modern times. They are satisfying career aspirations not running for office to serve the people, their constituencies. Senator Obama just ran a better campaign then she did. He enlisted the help of common citizens, a bottom-pu approach, and Senator Clinton did a top-down, typical politics, approach. Senator Obama’s approach, a tribute to his organizing days in Chicago, was brilliant. To actually have CHANGE take place, you have to get, convince people that it can actually happen. That is what Senator Obama did by starting his campaign in a grassroots, “organizing” fashion. People believe they have the power to make change, they have a say in politics for a change (pond intended). After Super Tuesday, the nation was surprised and Senator Clinton and her campaign was shocked. Now with the Reverend Wright controversy and his bungled words describing the frustrations of rural Americans, his unquestionable character is being questioned. Why? Because he was an unknown entity any way. In the end, he is the best choice for President. His fresh ideas, ability to organize people for the better good and his ability to “inspire” (part of the definition of a leader) people to action is just what the country ordered in these trying times. He also represents a break from politics of old, the strangle hold the status quo have on “policies for profit” in this country. This is why I believe so many have come out against him. The status quo does not want their earnings to be disturbed (oil cartel).
I am having difficulty in understanding this whole notion of HRC ’stealing’ the nomination from Barack Obama. From my understanding of the process in which a Democratic candidate is elected they must first reach the designated number of delegates through the primaries. If this is not possible, then the superdelegates are used in order to give the required number.
As far as I can see, neither candidate has thus far reached the required number and will not reach that number through the polls alone and therefore both candidate is relying on the support of the superdelegates.
My logical interpretation therefore, if the superdelegates see fit to back HRC, she has won the nomination, like wise for Barack. The misrepresentaion that HRC is stealing this nomination is absurd.
The system in which the DNC have approved is as such; the votes from the polls and the approval of the superdelegates. Superdelegates are not bound to reflect public opinion and have a free vote to back whomever they think will be the most electable come November.
HRC is not stealing this nomination in any shape or form, IF she was to be declared the nominee, she would have won it in exactly the same way as Barack; by the backing of the superdelegates
Wouldn’t a gas tax holiday increase demand of less than substantial supply and raise the price after it was said and done?
What about the encouraging of gas consumption? This wouldn’t do anything to help the climate crisis.
We need to lower dependancy on foreign oil, not encourage more consumption.
This was sent to me by a friend. I believe it’s from the Inverse Square Blog….
—Short form: gas consumption and traffic are down. The Feds predict a .4 percent fall in gas consumption this summer (when the proposed gas tax holiday would, if any savings made it to the pump, reverse that long-sought outcome). Money quote:
“Sustained higher gasoline prices are beginning to show up in lower gasoline consumption,†said Tancred Lidderdale, an analyst for the Energy Information Administration.
That’s the market in action, folks. Doing what it should. Is there a problem here?—
Also the highway trust fund is supported by gas tax. So road construction and repair may suffer. How does this help the economy or highway workers? Or travelers, if road conditions suffer?
Babs,
Thanks for the refreshing kind words about my post. Let me do something that so few people seem to do these days, “a little research,” and get back to you on the gas tax holiday issue this evening.
My gut reaction to the idea of lowering taxes without finding an alternative source of revenue is best summed up by the words of John McCain, explaining his stance on the Bush tax cuts: “I disagreed when we had tax cuts without spending restraint.”
We are already spending more than we make off of taxes, a holiday on the gas tax won’t begin to fix our dependence on foreign oil, and won’t lower the cost of the oil that we are buying now. All it would do is give people a temporary sense of security. So, if oil prices continue to rise and then the tax is reinstated this fall, gas prices would go through the roof. I almost guarantee that the Bush administration will keep the tensions high with Iron through the fall, therefore outstripping the lower demand that usually follows the summer driving season. Let me do a little research on the subject and offer a more complete critique of the three candidate’s stances on gas taxes.
Whobody,
You make many very strong points on the negatives of the “gas tax holiday.” Even though Obama’s stance against it is not politically appealing, I think it might be the right stance, and by strict interpretation the more conservative stance.
I think it is important for the American public to accept the reality of the world we live in rather than be shadowed from it by Government subsidy of non-sustainable consumption and energy policy.
Very true, JustinB. We need to become informed as citizens, and stop accepting (or blindly following) everything our media and government offer us.
You’re right, Obama’s stance is not very politically appealing… but, I think he is the most likely candidate (and the only candidate I’ve known on a presidential level) to try and do things to improve the country from the citizen’s perspective and work together with brighter minds of varying opinions to do it, and this (rejection of gas tax holiday) is a good example. He knows he doesn’t have all the answers, but he wants to work to find the right one, not just the ones that are appealing to the public while trying to get elected.
The gas tax holiday proposal seems like a political facade with not alot to offer once you delve into it.
The temporary suspension of the Gas Tax won’t change much of anything. It could boost consumer demand in a small way, but most people are already stretched to the point that they must take alternative means of transportation, or at the least limit travel only to bare neccesity. The gas tax holiday will likely increase demand for gasoline, and not much else.
Just as important to the economy is business outlook. The gas tax holiday would be little more than a blip in this arena, as most businesses have already adjusted for a reccession. The holiday WILL NOT fool any intelligent business owner into thinking that there will be enough of an increase in consumer demand for their products over the long term. What happens when the taxes come back? We cannot reasonably expect to institute a permanent cut in these taxes, especially with the glaring infrastructure problems our country faces.
This is a half-hearted measure dreamed up by people with, obviously, little knowledge of the economy. If fiscal income is reduced, which it will be in a big way if this “holiday” happens, then we will have to reduce fiscal spending, or risk adding to our already crushing defecit. To reduce fiscal spending in a time of recession would only worsen our recession, especially if the loss of government spending is met with a sluggish consumer response to the holiday, as I belive will be the case.
McCain supports this hair-brained idea because, as I have said before, he knows little about anything but war. Clinton supports the holiday because she knows that many people don’t understand the economy, playing to the ignorant, as always. Clinton certainly knows, however, what the end result will be, but she doesn’t care. Obama, once again, decided to do what he actually believes is right for America, and is correct in doing so. The gas tax holiday is most emphatically NOT sound fiscal policy, and I’m glad that someone stood up against it!
Rev. Wright was Hillary’s spiritual adviser during the Lewinsky scandal. He helped them get out of the immoral spotlight!
Obama, not one time, mentioned this.
Hypocrisy will still rule our country if Obama is not in office.
Judge not for fear you may be judged by that same judgement.
That’s biblical!
Good stuff, Citizen AJ.
I don’t know why there hasn’t been more talk about how revolutionary the Obama campaign has been. Using the social networking of today’s generation, his camp took grassroots organization to a whole new level. It really let supporters take control in their own towns, cities, and states as they saw fit, with a very hands-off approach from the nominee and his top organizers, which makes for more of a candidate of the people. He inspired people to do this before his campaign organizers even came into a state, and that is sayin alot about how he can rally people to a cause.
Josh
I said if you support Wright you should be kicked out of the country, not Obama. This is a good example of how stupid you are. I know that if you were standing near me you would not let your mouth loose like that but once and you know it as well.
To attack the south and label the people of the south tells us something about you….LOL
You are a loser and I wish I had a chance to make you wet you pants…
You keep running around your own comments to defend Wright by claiming I attack Obama and now your own candidate has called him out. I guess you will do the same in the next couple of weeks….LOSER!
Dem ‘08, arguing with you is like arguing with a child. I was “attacking” people from the south precisely to emulate your own hypocrisy. In other words, I was trying to illustrate what you sound like to me when you, as you repeatedly have, refer to Obama supporters as idiots or losers (although the loser crowd seems to be more on the Clinton side, anyway) , and also to illustrate what “radical” really is, in terms you can understand. Clearly I overestimated your intelligence, I’ll go back to baby-talk. I never defended Wrights comments, only justified them in the way I think Wright justified making them in the first place. This is all way beyond you, so why do I even bother?
obama is done. He’s lucky to get out on top. Unfortunatly, rev. wright ended that for him on 4-28-08. As a undecided voter, i now will vote Clinton. What is shamful is look, williams ayers, rev. wright, louis F. Codepink. This man is obvious trouble. If he were to apply for the CIA, he would be denied entry due to his “buddy ” Ayers. obama is better to go away and return later, much later.
Josh
You insult the whole southern half of the nation just so you can attack me and you call me a child. I’d say I won this deal.
I never said all Obama supportes are idiots and losers, only a handful of you who refuse to call out Wright because Obama had not done it yet. I said the all Wright supporters are idiots and losers and I am right to say that. Now you know that as well, Thank you!
What is the best part is that now Wright Gave you all the proof you wanted about him and we will get to see you guys stop the defence of Wright. The reason you will stop is because Obama called him out today. Just like biased little programmed robots you will follow. That is the proof that Like to see because it backs up my argument and makes yours look biased.
Do you defend Wright now? You should I’d say because either way, you look like an idiot.
Ok, here is the deal- I am tired and I really haven’t yet grasped where this argument started, but it needs to stop.
So, in order to facilitate this I will now ask that if we could please stop responding to Dem ‘08 we will not feed the fire. Logic and argumentation is always fun and something we discuss and debate all the time in the Linguistics field. However, in blogs it really drowns out the whole purpose of responding to articles where I want to read responses and gain a higher understanding and/or hear (read) differing view points from my own, broadening my scope.
We’re all bias anyway, we’re all human. Having said that I don’t think Obama is perfect, I just think he is one of the best at this point in time to take us out of what I would call America’s equivalent to being in its early 20’s. We had the growing pains of the 19th century, the teens of the 50’s and such, being cocky and beginning to understand the real world. Now here we are approaching our 30’s and we’re beginning to get a sense of our actions, really starting to take a step back and realize our maturity as a country. I think things will be getting better no matter what; the world is getting too small for old world selfish politics.
Dem ‘08,
This will be the last I’ll respond to you, because I’d much rather engage in intelligent debate with other intelligent people. You are clearly not an intelligent person in any way. You are the one who looks like an idiot, when you cannot come up with any argument aside from “oh you’re all idiots or losers”. You have no facts to back up your statements, and judging from your sentence structure and overall ability to form a coherent argument, you might actually be the one who is an idiot. Get some education, sister! You’ve come on here (you’re mommy should take away your internet) acting like a fool, challenging several people who are clearly well-acquainted with politics, and then balking at the reverse challenge of gathering facts to support your arguments. You failed to comprehend anything that has been written here, miserably. The main point everyone was trying to make was not that Wright’s a good guy, and your an idiot if you think that’s what anyone was saying. The points were A:)Wright and Obama are totally different people B:)Wright’s comments weren’t great, but they certainly weren’t “radical” and C:)It’s not one of the truly pressing issues that faces our country.
There have been several subsequent posts about ACTUAL issues
like healthcare and the stupid “gas tax holiday” that your candidate supports. If you had any real political intelligence you’d be talking about those issues, but you don’t, because I don’t honestly think you can even get a grasp on them.
So, here’s what you can do. You can continue your childish antics, calling people idiots and losers, and somehow think that that makes your argument the “winner”. I, for one, no longer feel that I should have to waste the time arguing with a 15 year old (whether actually 15, or just mentally 15) who doesn’t know what she’s talking about. Oh, and by the way, I don’t hate everyone in the South, just dumb, ignorant Rednecks like you…
PDX
Another one….LOSER!
Josh
OK, don’t cry…LOL
I wish you were a proud American who could stand up for what is right. I did not raise you. You got your morals from your parents if they were around when you were young.
I don’t seek to hurt your feelings really. I just can not watch stupid people act stupid without speaking up.
Don’t respond to my post…LOL
That is ok, I’ll still get the truth out.
LOSER
PDX,
Right, we’re all better than that anyway. Dumb broads are dumb broads, and who can blame her for not knowing when she is beaten, she takes after her candidate!
PDX, I don’t agree with your politics, but I do agree with your sentiment. And we can disagree and debate politics without either of us being tagged as losers or dumb broads.
The ironic thing about all the trash talk here is that someone who has probably already voted in their state is trying to convince someone else who has also probably already voted in their state to change a vote they’ve already cast. Pointless, huh?
