Coming from the Politico, a plan of wealthy Democratic surrogates, led by David Brock, who plan to unload a massive media campaign against McCain in the coming months.

Wealthy Democrats are preparing a four-month, $40 million media campaign centered on attacks on Senator John McCain. And it will be led by David Brock, the former investigative reporter who first gained fame in the 1990s as a right-wing, anti-Clinton journalist.
The planned campaign is the product of a shakeup in the top ranks of the struggling independent Democratic groups. Brock, now best known as the ex-conservative founder of the liberal group Media Matters, last month quietly assumed the chairmanship of what’s expected to be the main vehicle for independent Democratic attacks on McCain, now called Progressive Media USA.
The move comes after the groups that had been expected to spearhead attacks on McCain – the Fund for America and Progressive Media USA’s previous incarnation, the Campaign to Defend America – failed to raise the money needed to dent McCain’s armor.
“We’re a little behind where we need to be,” he said.
But after a dinner Tuesday night at the Manhattan apartment of liberal megadonor George Soros, at which Brock and the consultant Paul Begala laid out the group’s plans, Brock said his group now has commitments worth $7.5 million – almost twice what the Fund for America is expected to report raising in the first quarter of this year. He said the group would begin running ads before it meets its $40 million goal.
Brock suggested that the group could do the work of a press corps that, he says, has “fallen down on the job” when it comes to McCain.
So it appears that those outside the Democratic National Committee are looking at the long term struggle against McCain rather than the short term battle between Clinton and Obama.

This should be a very interesting - and short - campaign. Brock’s reputation precedes him, and I predit the RNC and McCain will make short work of disposing of his media campaign.

One of the nicer quotes from the critic on Brock: “but I have now been provoked by curiosity into reading Brock, and I would say without any hesitation that he is incapable of recognizing the truth, let alone of telling it.”
Credibility doesn’t seem to be his strong suit.
John McCain is a real hero and as a hero he demonstrated his loyality to America. That means that he above all the other candidates will not let our country fall into the hands of the terrorists and will not let the terrorists win in their battle to take over the world by inhumane tryanny. these terrorists are beyond evil. Their god is not the God of the jewish people or christians. Their god is a god of hate and murder like Hitler. Also the democrats must worship a god of hate too because their god is money funded by abortion and stem cell research. Murder was not meant to be a part of The Constitution of The United States of America until it was immorally and inhumanely ammended by Roe vs Wade. The democrats are proud to support these murders. This is their battle cry: “Abortion rights must not be taken away”. Their real battle cry to my ears is kill those babies, kill those babies forever and forever. They really mean “We need the money so we can control every Americans life by our power.” No love wasted there,right!! By the way their greed for power isn’t that called “tryanny”?
