This really shouldn’t come as any surprise, the NAACP has soundly endorsed Obama since the beginning, and as we’ve already learned most racial jabs conveniently come from Obama supporters, not Obama directly. This is just one more subtle playing of the race card.
I think if McCain should decide to deliver a speech on race during the campaign, no matter how well written or delivered, it will be twisted and contorted by some sectors, and waste valuable time that should be spent on the real issues. If I were McCain, I wouldn’t bother.
