Each candidate took time today in their campaigning to reflect and speak about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and what he meant for their lives and America on this day, 40 years after his assassination.

Finally, McCain had some interesting things to say concerning why he voted against a bill that would create a holiday for Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., McCain address that and said he was “sorry” for doing so:
