He was, after all, a supporter of her campaign for President. His endorsement has been quickly pulled from her campaign website and she was asked about New York Governor Eliot Spitzer’s association to a prostitution ring earlier today. If you’re completely unfamiliar with the story, check this page from WCBS-TV in New York. He’s expected to resign soon from his post as Governor.

Reaction to prostitution allegations against Democratic New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer:
“I obviously am sending my best wishes and thoughts to the governor and to his family. … Let’s wait and see what comes out of the next days. Right now I don’t have any comment. I think it’s appropriate to wish his family well and see how things develop.” — Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., and presidential contender endorsed by Spitzer.
That’s about all she’s said at this point and probably won’t say much more, it doesn’t directly involve her or her campaign.
It’s not like this is actually going to affect her campaign or anything. In fact, this is a local New York state issue but it was worth mentioning since he was a high profile supporter of hers.

I wonder if he was in consideration for running mate as VP on her ticket?
I don’t believe he was. I say that mainly because they’re both New York politicians and that kind of ticket probably wouldn’t play well outside of the Northeast. She needs someone who appeals to middle America more than Spitzer.
Seems Hillary isn’t a very good judge of character. I wonder how many more men she knows who struggle to keep their trousers on?
Hillary, who fought so hard for women’s, children’s and family rights, has no comment on one of her chief endorsers (a married man with children) spending thousands of dollars on prostitutes? You’d think she’d be outraged!
Hillary can’t be outraged because her husband did the same thing and she did nothing. It’s almost as if Hillary endorsed that sort of behaviour.
