Ok ok, so he didn’t mean to say it, but the funny part I think is that this is what many conservatives fear about McCain, that he actually feels that way. Makes it easy for a teaser headline.
Perhaps a little Freudian slip? I’d say more likely 18 hour days on the campaign trail and running on Red Bull.

Don’t defend him, Nate. McCain is proud to be an oxymoron!
Everyone knows he meant it. I describe myself as a conservative liberal, but I don’t change my views depending on the audience.
