Prediction Time: South Carolina Democratic Primary
A little late, but better late than never I suppose.
The polls close tonight at 7pm ET in South Carolina and soon after we should know who takes the state.
First, a short video report from ABC News:
The polls are showing Obama taking an easy win in South Carolina. Easy by a possible 10+ points in some cases. The RealClearPolitics average has Obama up about 12 points.
Needless to say, I’m handing this one to Obama. He’s got a lot more appeal to Southerners than Hillary seems to. Furthermore, I think the attacking by Bill Clinton all week has hurt the Clinton campaign and only bolstered Obama in the state.
Polls close at 7pm ET in South Carolina and we’ll have the results as soon as they begin rolling in.

Leapfrogging?! I do not believe this.
Hillary Clinton was served one term in the Senate– and one you could easily debate, was from the beginning a springboard designed for her bid to the White House.
Bill Clinton says that you spend a lot of time “preparing” when you are going to run for president, so we should discount Barack Obama’s time in the U.S Senate. How about this many years in the Illinois Senate?
Hillary does not have more ELECTED time than Barack Obama. How does this demonstrate that she is not LEAPFROGGING….
Sorry, but feeling a bit cantankerous myself.
