I used to pseudo-support him for his foreign policy positions, but this makes it difficult to stand by him in any fashion. Even if he did not directly write those hateful words, he’s responsible for them - they were published under HIS NAME. He should publicly denounce them - or come out and say he agrees with them. While he’s at it, he should reject that endorsement from the White Supremacist Group Stormfront.
To support him, you have to basically ignore this information. It would help if he came out now and publicly condemned it and I’m betting he will have to in the next couple days.
i dont claim to support Ron Paul, but i have to give my observations.. of course these newsletters are alarming and cast alot of doubt over Paul’s private agenda.. but you have to take into account and be aware of this coming out as a smear tactic on this important date.
if you take Ron Paul for what comes out of his mouth, he doesnt he doesnt support racism or bigotry at all…
the fact for me is, the words I hear come from RP himself resonate alot more than the words of any republican candidate..
dont buy the shit theyre selling, think for yourself!

How can you believe any of this stuff? It’s like south park saying something about someone and everyone being expected to take it seriously. I’m not a supporter of any of the nominees because they’re all full of shit. Someone is going to produce some mumbojumbo to sway people away from voting for someone. It happens every election. There are idiots, like the people who see this and take it seriously, who have their opinion swayed. Too bad this great country isn’t filled with intelligence… if it were we wouldn’t be in the situation we are now. And yes, i am a racist person. I hate people who can’t think for themselves and have enough intelligence to decipher what’s real and what isn’t.

He issued that statement the day the piece came out and as soon as you brought it my attention, I posted it. There was no false information reported, I just didn’t have the statement yet. I rely on people like yourself to catch these things and you did.
You can not make a decision based on what was published in The New Republic. They are putting that out there now and the publisher of that newsletter admitted that he has never heard Ron Paul say any of these things. President Bush has been accused of being a racist and he was re-elected by a wide margin. If Bush can serve 2 terms we should atleast allow an intelligent man like Dr. Ron Paul one term. What’s the worst that could happen? He will bring the troops home and make the country financially sound.
These “News Letters” have Paul’s picture on the top and end with his signature. They were published for years and years. One even has a christmas greeting referencing his wife by name. He didn’t write them?? Didn’t know what they said?
That Paul is a right wing nut job does not suprise me. What does is that big media completely failed to catch this and it took a columnist in the New Republic to break the story. What the hell is the good of the media if they can’t even get to this stuff?
I blame the Jews, and the Trialateral Commission!!

Ron Paul has some interesting Fiscally Conservative Economic Policy, but as for his Foreign Policy thoughts all you need to do is listen to his points in the Jan 10th debate……..Ron Paul said “5 gun boats against a US Destroyer? We could take care of them in 5 seconds.†Was he sleeping when one little rubber boat killed 17 US sailors and injured 39 others??? Remember the USS Cole??
