It is just about 100% official, John McCain and Hillary Clinton have won their respective New Hampshire primaries.
Here’s the story from Breitbart:
CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton won New Hampshire’s Democratic primary Tuesday night in a startling upset, defeating Sen. Barack Obama and resurrecting her bid for the White House. Sen. John McCain powered past his Republican rivals and back into contention for the GOP nomination.
Clinton’s victory capped a comeback from last week’s third-place finish in the Iowa caucuses and raised the possibility of a long battle for the party nomination between the most viable black candidate in history and the former first lady, who is seeking to become the first woman to occupy the Oval Office.
McCain’s triumph scrambled the Republican race as well.
The polls on this one were dead wrong, the RCP average had Obama up several points. Looks like Clinton apparantly squeaked out the victory by a couple points over Obama. Still, kudos to Obama for the run, and congratulations to both McCain and Clinton on their victories.
I will post their victory speeches soon once Clinton delivers hers.

WOW what a night huh i was totally shocked when the ap called it for hilary
Yeah, new voters totally upset the polls and handed her the victory.
I wonder how many independents went toward McCain instead of Obama? Either way, it was close. Clinton won, but by a much narrower victory than her staff would have ever imagined a month ago.
And I was dead wrong in my predictions– thought Obama would take NH and South Carolina….
Pretty much everyone was dead wrong on predictions, I don’t know of anyone who said Obama wasn’t winning New Hampshire. The polls had him up by 5 or 10 on average, it seemed inevitable. Just reminds us that polls aren’t always reliable.
Is Clinton going to cry all the way to the White House?
If she wins and we get national health care, I might as well go back to Canada.
