Video: Romney on Hannity & Colmes Live From Iowa
Mitt Romney was on Hannity & Colmes live from Iowa a little earlier at 9pm. Here is the entire video:
Romney tried to play it cool over the Huckabee questions and plays it off as if he’s above it all, and he pretty much has been with the exception of a couple attack ads. However, none of Romney’s ads actually called Huckabee a liar like Huckabee’s pulled ad did to Romney.
He makes a pretty good case against McCain, especially to conservatives in my opinion. Once Iowa is over tomorrow McCain will become the new target of the Romney campaign as they will battle it out for New Hampshire.
As you may know, Huckabee will be on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno later this evening. I will upload the full video once it airs with some more analysis.

Mr. Romney was very clear and stated his positions well. I have been impressed with him over the months and intend to vote for him. As I see his actual comments and then see others, like Huckabee, mislead the public by taking Romney out of context, I can only hope that everyone is paying as close attention to the candidates themselves as I am trying to. I have a belief that the majority of the American people will be fair and honest and open to true facts and not be mislead. That is how this nation remains strong.
the republicans always slaimed that kerry was a flip-flopper..
what exactly is romney then (abortion, gay-rights)???!
He is for non-discrimination. He has taken a firm stand on being pro-life. This is really the flip that people have been unrelentless on. He was always pro-life personally, but for the role of government he believed in upholding the law. I for one am glad that he is now firmly pro-life in public service as well as personally. As for gay rights, he hasn’t effectively changed. He is not for gay marriage, as this erodes traditional family foundations and values. But he is for treating people with respect and non-discrimination in the workplace, etc. But gay marriage?!?! Think long term and you will see he is taking a leader’s stand. Let’s elect him.
he has changed! the pro-life was an obvious flip. he never was für gay.marriage, he however was for gay-civil-unions . he somehow “forgot ” that…just like he saw his father march with martin luther king, right?
and when he claimed “i seek the day where gays can openly serve in the military” -by on of the repunlican debates he was reluctant to repeat that.
he is a phoney and a flip-flopper. period.
and how can you say he is against discrimination when he treats gays unequally?
I think he is the best presidential candidate period. He is dealing with tough issues and taking a stand on how he will lead this country. How can that be phony? Some say he is too polished but how is that a crime? He is just doing the best he can. Should we punish someone for having less faults than the other candidates? We get to a point where we are splitting hairs just looking for reasons to rule out a candidate. If one is looking too good we hold them to a higher standard than the ones who are rough around the edges. Romney is clearly the best leader in the race.
And a person can be against gay marriage and still be against discrimination, at least in my definition of the word. There are places in the world where gays are being mistreated very badly. I believe Romney is saying let’s not discriminate or mistreat, but let’s not condone to the point that it is destructive to the rest of society.
how on earth could it be destructive to the rest of society???
if peter and tom have a civil union, how does that effect kate and ben??
