Clinton Staff Caught Planting Questions at Forum

This from AOL News:

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - An aide for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton gave a Grinnell College student a question to ask the Democratic presidential candidate during a forum this week in central Iowa.

That the question had been planted by the campaign was not mentioned at the event.

“This is not standard policy and will not be repeated again,” the campaign said in a statement issued Friday night. Clinton herself did not know when she called on the student that the question had been suggested by one of her staff, the campaign said.

“The senator had no idea,” Clinton spokesman Mo Elleithee told The Associated Press.

Clinton appeared at a biodiesel plant in Newton on Tuesday to introduce her energy plan. A student, Muriel Gallo-Chasanoff, later told Grinnell College’s student newspaper, The Scarlet & Black, that she was asked by a senior Clinton staffer to pose a question about global warming. She also said that staffers prompted the senator to call on her, the newspaper reported.

Probably par for the course for Hillary. Then again, can you really believe the campaign that planting questions isn’t standard procedure? I highly doubt that assertion. I’m betting they’ve been planting questions all the time and the Hillary supporters asking the planted questions would most likely keep that quiet. However, all it took was one person to mention something to a school newspaper.

Furthermore, the assertion by the campaign that Hillary knew nothing of the plant I’d also question, there’s no way to no for sure.

More on this story from the Scarlet and Black:

After her speech, Clinton accepted questions. But according to Grinnell College student Muriel Gallo-Chasanoff ’10, some of the questions from the audience were planned in advance. “They were canned,” she said. Before the event began, a Clinton staff member approached Gallo-Chasanoff to ask a specific question after Clinton’s speech. “One of the senior staffers told me what [to ask],” she said.

Clinton called on Gallo-Chasanoff after her speech to ask a question: what Clinton would do to stop the effects of global warming. Clinton began her response by noting that young people often pose this question to her before delving into the benefits of her plan.

But the source of the question was no coincidence—at this event “they wanted a question from a college student,” Gallo-Chasanoff said. She also noted that staffers prompted Clinton to call on her and another who had been approached before the event, although Clinton used her discretion to select questions and called on people who had not been prepped before hand. Some of the questions asked were confusing and clearly off-message.

This wasn’t just one student, there wer at least 2 according to the paper. Guarantee this has been going on for months.

For shame.

Do not we all voters are barked at (to get attention) by the Media pundits how we have to think, why we have to vote or not vote particular candidate?
Look at number of Political Pundits (totally polarized fanatically) in the media whose goal is only to plant their dogmatic views (mostly self serving) on voters mind?

Wake up voters. Do not listen to these craps like ” that one is holier than other”. All politicians in one way or the other are crooks. It is the last resort to scoundrels.
You got to choose the one that is least harmful to this great country; you have plenty of time to do that – a year. Till then, just watch the fun. Do not get planted.
