According to a recent New York Times article:

Don’t look for presidential announcements from Senators Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton anytime soon, but stay tuned.

Apparently Obama will be announcing whether he’ll be running “after President Bush’s State of the Union address on Jan. 23″.

Hillary will be announcing her inevitable candidacy “in the next several weeks, her advisers say”.

I know Hillary is running, I’d bet Barack is too so he can eventually fold into the vice president slot.

Addition: Hot Air has some more about Obama and his beach trip over the holidays. It’s like slowing your car down to see how bad the passing car wreck is. Or perhaps these photos will be used to convince unsuspecting, uninformed women (and flamboyant men) why they should vote Obama.
