Neil Cavuto: Tom Tancredo “just might well be president”

Tancredo’s already formed a PAC called Team America PAC which is described as a PAC “Dedicated To Securing Our Nation’s Border”. Clearly, he’s got an issue that resonates.

According to a recent WorldNetDaily article “One contender many Americans consider the nation’s best possible candidate is Rep. Tom Tancredo, R.- Colo., who just won his fifth term in Congress.”

Tancredo himself acknowledged that he will INDEED run for President saying the following:

Neil, I will run for president if I cannot get … any of the serious candidates to really take this on. My purpose is to make immigration the focal point of any national debate on a presidential election.

Tancredo continued to sidestep the platform he might run on:

Mexico is aiding and abetting an invasion of this country. They are part of the problem. In fact, they are creating situations along that border, using their own military, to protect drug trafficking into the United States, pushing their own people into the United States for a variety of reasons. It is an invasion.

Or wait, that’s the clearest declaration I’ve heard from any “possible” candidate. Perhaps a Tancredo/Giuliani ticket vs. a Hillary/Edwards ticket could be a possibility. Or maybe the other way around.
